Job summary

CBIZ is seeking an experienced audit leader to drive asset management engagements across funds in PE, infra, real estate and VC. You will serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor while guiding teams and ensuring GAAP compliance.

You will help grow CBIZ in the New England region, manage the practice to meet targets, and lead initiatives around AI and technology. A CPA and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• 6 years of supervisory experience
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements in asset management across private equity, infrastructure, private credit, venture capital and real estate
• Serve as key client contact and trusted business advisor
• Assist growth in New England and lead national/regional initiatives
• Manage the practice to meet billing targets and drive AI/tech initiatives
• Participate in business development opportunities for CBIZ
• Maintain quality control per US GAAP and regulatory guidelines
• Design, plan and review attest procedures on valuations and disclosures
• Advise as Subject Matter Expert in asset management with ASC 946 focus
• Contribute to research and insights on new accounting standards
• Build out staff and growth mindset
