Overview:

Bullpen's client, an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm, is seeking a Hospitality Asset Management Associate to help lead operations and repositioning efforts across a growing hotel portfolio. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to join at a formative stage and help build out a dedicated hospitality vertical. The right candidate will be both analytical and operations-savvy, with the ability to dig into financial performance, work cross-functionally, and drive value across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze hotel-level financials, forecasting, and performance against comp sets

• Build, manage, and optimize annual budgets and asset-level business plans

• Lead quarterly reporting processes and contribute to investor and internal presentations

• Collaborate closely with acquisitions, construction, and third-party management teams

• Support RFP processes, operator oversight, and capital project execution

• Conduct hold/sell, recapitalization, and value-add analyses

• Travel regularly for on-site presence at assets

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of hospitality experience, ideally from an owner-operator or hotel asset management role

• Deep understanding of hotel operations, P&Ls, and revenue management strategies

• Strong analytical, modeling, and budgeting skills

• Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to drive initiatives forward

• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX, with flexibility to travel
