Job summary

Redwood Trust, Inc. is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to administer and analyze mortgage loan pools across Aspire’s whole loan and securitization activities.

You will support identification and resolution of Early Payment Defaults, evaluate repurchase requests, track collateral performance, and coordinate servicing transfers with external servicers and custodians. The role requires a solid understanding of mortgage servicing processes, strong analytical and communication skills, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing processes and channels.
• 2+ years of servicing or servicing oversight experience.
• Strong data analytical skills; proficient with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate reports for potential Early Payment Defaults and seek cure or corrective actions.
• Present Repurchase Requests to Sellers and coordinate receipt of proceeds and servicing transfers.
• Review Monthly Servicer Reports for potential defaults or breaches and provide regular reporting to management.
• Prepare Executive Summaries for Capital Markets Desk and respond to questions.
