Job summary

GGP, headquartered in Chicago, is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support valuation, hold/sell analyses, budgeting, and decision materials for portfolio optimization. You will work with Asset Managers on inputs for major decisions, develop cash flow models, and assist in preparing board and investment committee materials.

The role requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, plus experience with Argus and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Real Estate.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a related field; Investment Sales and/or Investment Banking.
• Advanced Argus user preferred.
• Experience building Excel financial models and discounted cash flow valuations.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to interact across cultures/geographies and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management processes, including valuation and hold/sell analysis, financing, and preparing major decision materials.
• Assist with property-level budgets, quarterly reforecasts, development projects, and leases as part of major decisions.
• Prepare inputs for quarterly return models, cap rates, and sensitivity analyses.
• Coordinate preparation of quarterly board materials and investment committee memos.
• Coordinate retail research to support business plans and decision making.

This individual will perform standard, advanced and confidential duties requiring broad experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices.
