IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech III to service, maintain, and repair rental equipment. You will handle complex repairs, manage inventory, and mentor junior technicians, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will lead diagnostics, document check sheets, and coordinate with customers for on-site pickups or deliveries, with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive benefits. This role rewards hands-on problem solving and offers growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure accurate documentation of check sheets.
• Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field
• Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
• Welding experience is preferred
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in the rental/pump industry strongly preferred
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
