Rain for Rent is seeking an Accountant II to manage fixed and rental asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals. The role focuses on asset lifecycle accounting and reconciliation, reporting, and ASC 842 lease activities.

The candidate will work with finance teams to ensure accurate asset data, month-end close, and audit support. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of accounting experience are required, with strong attention to detail and knowledge of US GAAP.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible accounting and financial record-keeping experience required.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and asset lifecycle concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accounting records for fixed assets and rental fleet assets.
• Process asset additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Prepare depreciation calculations and asset reporting schedules.
• Support cash management and wire transfers per policy.
• Assist with audit support for fixed assets and leases.
• Develop SOPs and process documentation.
