Tailwind Applied Sciences is seeking an Asset & Inventory Manager to track and distribute company assets, warehouse inventory, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate records and real-time visibility.

This role collaborates with logistics, procurement, and field teams to align inventory with project demands, optimize material flow, and prevent shortages. The successful candidate will implement asset control procedures and generate reports on inventory levels and asset performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or asset control.
• Strong organizational and tracking skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or Excel.
• Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and material flow processes.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage company assets including tools, equipment, and warehouse inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure real-time visibility of assets.
• Perform routine cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate distribution of materials, tools, and equipment to support field operations.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of assets for projects and daily needs.
• Optimize warehouse organization and material flow processes.
• Align inventory levels with project demand and operational requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Support planning for upcoming projects by forecasting asset needs.
• Work closely with logistics, procurement, and field teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate asset availability, shortages, and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with procurement for ordering and replenishment of materials.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of company assets.
• Implement and enforce asset control procedures.
• Minimize loss, damage, or misplacement of inventory and equipment.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and asset performance.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Recommend systems or tools to improve asset tracking and workflow.
