Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Asset Implementation Specialist in Rockport, IN to ensure tractors and trailers meet DOT/FMCSA licensing and permitting requirements. You will manage plates, permits, and asset documentation, while coordinating with drivers and internal teams.

You should have a high school diploma with 3–5 years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in TMW and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read permits, cab cards, titles and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Plate and permit tractors and trailers.
  • File and organize asset records.
  • Add and update asset information in TMT and TMW.
  • Maintain asset documentation by indexing tractor/trailer documents in EBE.
  • Answer emails or calls as needed.
  • Contact drivers regarding permits, plates, and transponders.
  • Perform other role tasks as deemed by management.

Summary

The Asset Implementation Specialist will be knowledgeable of Federal DOT and FMCSA regulations as it pertains to the licensing and permitting requirements for DOT Motor Carriers and be able to perform tasks to keep assets (ie. tractors and trailers) in compliance at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plate and permit tractors and trailers.
  • Filing and organizing.
  • Adding and updating asset information to TMT and TMW as needed.
  • Maintain asset documentation by indexing and organizing tractor and trailer documents in EBE.
  • Answer emails or calls as needed.
  • Contact drivers regarding outgoing permits, plates, and transponders.
  • Other role tasks as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required, college work or completion preferred; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of navigating websites, TMW Database software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software, Microsoft Teams software, and Microsoft Word software.
