Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited New York Branch is seeking a Transportation sector internship to support credit analysis, financial modeling, and basic underwriting. The role offers hands-on experience with airline and aircraft leasing activities, and exposure to portfolio management in a fast-paced corporate finance environment.

The intern will analyze filings, assist in credit applications, and help monitor creditworthiness while learning day-to-day duties in global banking operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or working toward one in finance, economics, or related field.
• Understanding of financial markets and ability to perform financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic financial modeling handy work.
• Strong research skills using Bloomberg, EDGAR, and rating agencies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in credit analysis and industry research by reviewing filings and presentations.
• Support underwriting by analyzing deal risks and financial models.
• Participate in portfolio management tasks including reviews and amendments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
