Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking an Asset Development Analyst to identify and advance revenue-producing asset opportunities. You will support acquisition, sale, and development processes, conduct market and zoning research, and prepare reports for decision-makers.

Responsibilities include collaborating with landlords, developers, and internal teams to ensure completeness of data, generate site-marketing materials, and track progress on multiple opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.
• 2+ years in wireless development, real estate, site acquisition or asset development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Research geographic areas to identify population trends for asset development opportunities.
• Coordinate with team on opportunities and ensure data quality for budgeting.
• Interface with landlords and developers for due diligence and updates on projects.
• Create site-marketing materials for business development initiatives.
• Maintain trackers and provide updates on deliverables and status.

This position will also be responsible for strategic site research, competitive analysis, site marketing, landlord interaction, legal coordination, and other projects as required.What You Will Do – Primary ResponsibilitiesResearch different geographic areas to identify population trends to determine where new asset development opportunities may be needed.Coordinate with team members on new asset development opportunities to ensure the quality and completeness of site specific data required to make budgeting decisionsInterface with landlords and developers to procure necessary due diligence and provide routine updates on assigned project(s) status.Work cross functionally with other team members and groups within the organization in order to determine RF coverage gaps, zoning research and other pertinent data.Research property ownership and create reports for team members.Create site-marketing materials for all business development initiatives.Provide daily support on assigned tasks within a new asset development scope of work.Maintain tracker that reports and summarize the status of various new asset development opportunities and goals.Follow up and track status on assigned new asset development opportunities.Notify team members of mission-critical deliverables as received and provide effective communications on receipt of daily deliverables within assigned tasks.Organize files, drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence received from landlords and tower developers.Source opportunities through various government, communications and real estate online databases.Work collaboratively with legal and other internal resources to facilitate necessary agreements.Other projects and duties as assigned.What You’ll Need – Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications preferred;and 2+ years wireless development, real estate, site acquisition and/or asset development.Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.#LI-JM1Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
