Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking an Engineer - Asset Management to support the Substation/Transmission Reliability Team with data collection, analysis, and strategy development. You will maintain asset databases, generate reports, and use Cascade and Power BI to monitor conditions and trends for reliability improvements.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations, and Asset Management teams to optimize maintenance programs and capital projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
FE or ability to obtain FE within 1 year of employment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate collection and organization of asset data in reliability systems.
Maintain and analyze asset data for Substation/Transmission reliability teams.
Leverage Cascade and Power BI dashboards to monitor asset performance and trends.
Develop, implement, and document maintenance programs for transmission and substation assets.
Manage capital project recommendations to align with reliability goals.
Conduct field audits to verify data accuracy between field and databases.
