DLA Careers is seeking a Document Automation Specialist (EMS) to manage government asset inventory, AP/AR processes, and contract administration within the EMS framework. The role supports coordination with multiple departments to ensure proper funding linkage and accurate invoicing for customer procurement needs.

The position emphasizes compliance with governing regulations, accurate asset master records, and effective customer account management within a federal workflow environment.

Qualifications

• Education must be from an accredited college or university with transcripts required for substitutions.
• Graduate education can qualify for higher grade levels if applicable.
• Combination of education and experience may satisfy total qualification requirements for GS-09.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative duties for customer asset inventory across the Area of Consideration.
• Handle AP/AR processes within EMS and DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS).
• Coordinate with Branch Chiefs, Customer Relations Specialists, Order and Billing Specialists to ensure asset linkage to funding and error resolution.
• Administer 1901’s in Acquisition Workflow for GPC-based credit purchases.
• Assist EMS customer account management and daily contract administration tasks.
• Process EMS AR/AP, contract administration, procurement submissions, and customer service for existing customers.

Education

Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree

Education in combination with experience (GS-09 qualification path)
