Job summary

The Defense Logistics Agency in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Document Automation Specialist (EMS) to manage admin duties for asset inventory, run AR/AP within the EBS, and support contract administration and procurement submissions for the customer base.

You will work with Branch Chiefs, Customer Relations Specialists, and Billing Specialists to ensure accurate asset linkage to funding, process AR/AP, and maintain master inventory while complying with regulations and DoD policies.

Qualifications

• Education substitution may be used to meet basic qualifications.
• Specialized experience required: 1 year at GS-07 level equivalence in AR/AP, contract administration, procurement, or customer service.
• Total percentages of education and experience must meet 100% to qualify for GS-09 level.

Responsibilities

• Manage admin duties for asset inventory across the Area of Consideration.
• Oversee AP/AR processes within the DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS).
• Coordinate with Branch Chiefs, Customer Relations Specialists, Order Specialist and Billing Specialist to ensure asset accuracy and funding linkage.
• Handle EMS AR/AP, contract administration, and new procurement submissions for customers.
• Provide customer service support for the existing customer base.
• Ensure contract invoices, billing accuracy, payments, delinquencies, and related admin tasks per regulations.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of the asset master inventory.
