Job summary

MUFG is seeking a Portfolio Management professional within Asset Based Finance to oversee a portfolio of lending clients across the US. You will evaluate creditworthiness, monitor collateral, and support revenue growth through collaboration with portfolio officers, RMs, and product partners.

The role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling, and communication abilities, with a hybrid work arrangement (office four days, remote one day).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance; CFA Level I-III or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor borrower financial performance on an ongoing basis.
• Evaluate collateral performance and ensure adequate collateral coverage.
• Assess liquidity and excess availability historically and projected.
• Ensure collateral is appraised and field exams conducted; adjust as needed.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and credit applications evaluating loan purpose, liquidity, and capital structure.
• Collaborate with portfolio officers, RMs, product partners, and origination staff to drive revenue growth.
• Monitor troubled credits and recommend actions; participate in strategy reviews.
• Assist with managing a bank group as agent and structuring solutions.
• Perform due diligence to provide timely responses to credit requests.
• Maintain accurate internal and regulatory risk ratings and adjust as needed.
• Engage in discussions with Agents and address amendments/extend requests.
• Support internal/external examinations and compliance tasks.
