Zachry Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support Asset Accounting within the Fixed Asset Team. The role requires strong organization, multi-project management, and the ability to meet month-end close deadlines while maintaining accurate financial records.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 3–5 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Accounting field.
• Proficient in researching on the internet.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Vlook up and pivot table).
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Equipment rate development – Build rental rates for owned and augmented equipment.
• Equipment rate development – Create and update equipment rates list per construction project.
• Equipment rate development – Audit equipment rates periodically to confirm billing the approved rates.
• Prepare monthly P&L report by equipment.
• Assist in preparing quarterly excess equipment utilization.
• Record transactions and provide an auditable accounting trail.
• Communication – Maintain consent communication with the equipment operation team.
• Perform journal entries.
• Scan documents and file in shared drive.
• Other duties, as assigned.
