Tulane University seeks an experienced assessment leader to oversee the evaluation of student learning outcomes and administrative unit performance across programs and units. Provides leadership for the assessment of student learning outcomes for the University’s academic programs and administrative units through training and support for assessment activities and technologies that assist with collecting and interpreting student learning or unit outcome data.
Facilitates the development and implementation of effective assessment strategies, approaches, practices, and resources to support faculty and staff. In addition to academic program and support units throughout the University, provides support for ongoing assessment of the general education Core Curriculum offered through the Newcomb-Tulane College (NTC), including developing and managing an infrastructure for assessing student learning within the general education core curriculum. Works with the NTC Associate Dean responsible for assessment of the core curriculum by being a resource for coordinating the assessment schedule, collection of data, and compilation of data and findings.
