Assessment Specialist Flex - Reno and Surrounding Counties

We are currently seeking an Assessment Specialist Flex in the Clinical department to conduct program assessments using established tools and processes, providing eligibility recommendations according to program and CareStar guidelines.

THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who:

• Possess qualifications that vary by program, including active licenses such as Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, or Registered Nurse.
• Have experience working with the populations served by the applicable program and in home and community-based services environments.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail in assessments and documentation. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Can work independently within CareStar and program guidelines, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills in a diverse work environment, along with problem-solving, organizational skills, and flexibility.
• Adhere to the CareStar Rules in performing job responsibilities.
• Understand and comply with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information; unlawful disclosures will be treated as serious disciplinary offenses.
• Follow the Acceptable Use Policy when utilizing CareStar's information systems.
