The Port Authority of NY & NJ is seeking a motivated Human Resources intern for the Assessment Services Unit. This internship offers hands-on exposure to employee selection, assessment development, and large-scale recruitment operations supporting a wide range of roles from operational to public-safety.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at a college/university at the time of the internship.
• Major in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related discipline.
• Graduate-level student.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job analyses to identify critical competencies.
• Assist in developing written, oral, and practical assessments.
• Support test administration logistics, scheduling, and coordination.
• Assist in facilitating PAPD Police Officer selection phases.
• Perform descriptive and basic statistical analyses on applicants.
• Contribute to assessment reports and recruitment metrics.
• Help prepare training materials for item writers and raters.
