Perimeter Healthcare in Springfield, MO is seeking an Assessment & Referral Clinician to handle a high volume of public and professional inquiries, schedule and conduct intake appointments, conduct follow-up calls, track calls and admissions, and coordinate referrals.

This full-time role works in a team setting under the supervision of the Director of Intake, ensuring clear communication with patients, families and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Requires RN or Master’s in Psychology/Behavioral Health.
• Experience in behavioral health assessment or treatment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to establish level of care.
• Receive inquiries and screen viability for services.
• Coordinate referrals and document patient needs and dispositions.
• Liaise with business office and utilization review for insurance verification.
• Communicate with clinical staff and referral sources to support patient care.
