Job summary

Assessment Intervention Management is seeking a detail-oriented Paraprofessional to support our evaluation team in administering student assessments. You will prepare devices, set up secure testing platforms, and monitor environments to ensure smooth sessions.

The role involves assisting evaluators with materials, note-taking, scheduling, and data entry in a school setting, while upholding confidentiality and orderly testing practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in an educational or testing environment is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions, uphold confidentiality, and remain attentive in proctoring situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laptops, tablets, and other devices required for testing.
• Set up secure testing platforms/software and ensure internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues during assessments (with evaluator guidance).
• Assist in maintaining a quiet, distraction-free testing environment.
• Monitor student behavior to ensure standardized administration procedures.
• Support evaluators in keeping testing materials secure and organized.
• Distribute and collect materials.
• Document and track testing accommodations as directed.
• Provide clerical support such as note-taking, scheduling, and data entry.
• Work under the direct supervision of the evaluator or assigned staff.
• Communicate promptly about any issues that may disrupt testing.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
