Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance required.
• 4 years of admin experience with research/analysis, public relations, office and computer skills.
• 1 year of supervisory or lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assume duties of the Assessor during absence.
• Establish guidelines for the assessment process.
• Complete mandatory reports (valuation notices, abstracts, tax rolls, certifications).
• Monitor abatements and caseloads; coordinate hearings.
• Write procedures for efficiency and quality control.
• Research data to maintain integrity of tax systems.
• Prepare budget requests and monitor expenditures.
• Maintain Assessor Department website and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare materials for the Department Head and Manager.
• Conduct research to resolve complex problems in the Assessor Department.
