Job summary

Obsidian Solutions Group LLC in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an Assessment Data Analyst to analyze Higher Headquarters Assessment findings, identify enterprise trends, and develop executive reports, metrics, and briefing materials. You will support preparation of draft and final HHA reports, track corrective actions, and produce recurring performance reports and data visualizations.

You will assist quality assurance reviews through data validation and provide analytical support to assessment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years supporting DoD, Army, or Federal assessment programs.
• Experience with trend analysis, data visualization, executive reporting, and performance metrics.
• Experience supporting inspections, assessments, corrective action programs, or continuous process improvement.
• Experience using Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Active Secret Security Clearance; DoD Cyber Awareness Training; OPSEC Level I.
• Clearance Level: Active Secret.

Assessment Data Analyst Primary Location: Program Site – Fredericksburg, VA (occasional travel) Clearance: Active Secret Ability to work remotely: Yes, with periodic on-site presence for program reviews and coordination Job Summary OSG is seeking an Assessment Data Analyst to analyze Higher Headquarters Assessment (HHA) findings, identify enterprise trends, and develop executive reports, metrics, and briefing materials. This role supports preparation of draft and final HHA reports, tracks corrective actions, produces recurring performance reports and data visualizations, and supports quality assurance reviews through data validation and analytical research.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years supporting DoD, Army, or Federal assessment programs.
  • Experience performing trend analysis, data visualization, executive reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting inspections, assessments, corrective action programs, or continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Required Certifications: Active Secret Security Clearance; DoD Cyber Awareness Training; OPSEC Level I.
  • Clearance Level Required: Active Secret
• Preferred Qualifications
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Tableau (or equivalent analytics platform).

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with occasional travel to installations and program events. Ability to sit for extended periods and use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.).

Travel

• Occasional travel (up to 10%) to support program reviews and stakeholder coordination.
