Job summary

Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. is seeking an Assessment Counselor for our Probation and Parole program. The role will conduct TCU Assessments and mental health evaluations, facilitate groups, and coordinate referrals to treatment using evidence-based practices.

The position emphasizes timely communication with Probation Officers, training in TMEC, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Substance Abuse/Addiction and/or Mental Health.
• Must be eligible for DOC clearance.
• Valid Driver's License with 2 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Conduct TCU Assessments and Mental Health evaluations.
• Facilitate TCU groups.
• Provide progress updates and referrals to treatment.
• Train in using TCU-IBR assessment instruments.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
