Responsibilities

Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full range of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, with an experienced and tenured senior management team, serving New Castle County and northern Maryland.

Position Summary:

In this rewarding role, you will assess and evaluate the needs of individuals in crisis and appropriately triage them based on gathered information to the most suitable services.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries from individuals and referral sources seeking treatment
  • Monitor electronic referral source system
  • Assist in the initial triage of individuals presenting for services
  • Facilitate the admission process, including completing admission paperwork, data entry, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations
  • Provide a welcoming environment, understanding the importance of first impressions when greeting clients, families, and guests
