Job summary

MCM Staffing, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate in Michigan to operate assembly lines and presses, following TPM objectives and established processes. You will work in a team to load, assemble, weld parts, start up lines, and address equipment issues while maintaining safety and quality.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, about a year of manufacturing experience, and basic ERP skills. You will perform repetitive tasks, stand for long shifts, and participate in TPM and 5S

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• General knowledge of quality systems.
• Able to identify sheet metal/aluminum defects.
• Basic knowledge using an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Perform line start up.
• Load/Assemble/Weld parts.
• Correct machine problems.
• Inspect parts for defects.
• Maintain equipment using the TPM process.
• Know and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow process procedures for Assembly.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements.
• Initiate quality improvements and assist in concern resolution.
• Maintain production efficiencies.
• Operate a fork truck in a high traffic production based setting safely.
• Participate in improvement activities using 5S/TPM processes.
