Job summary

Woodward is hiring an Assembly and Test Associate 1 in Michigan for the 2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will assemble products from documented procedures, test them for quality, and keep a clean, organized workspace following 5S and safety rules.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read procedures, use basic tools, and collaborate with the production team. Training hours are provided prior to start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, data entry).
• Strong teamwork and communication to support a safe, efficient production line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product components following documented procedures and using specified tools.
• Test assembled products to verify function and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and safety protocols.
