Job summary

Woodward seeks a Mechanical Assembler to assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts in an industrial setting. You will use appropriate tools and follow work instructions under supervision, contributing to efficient production and quality records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to handle basic hand tools, communicate effectively, and follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to use a variety of basic hand tools.
• Basic written/verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities.
• Detail orientation and ability to follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing; low to moderately complex assembly and test.
• Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts using work instructions.
• Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions.
• Follow work instructions to become certified for performed work.
• Work with close tolerances to meet engineering and operating requirements.
• Complete all required paperwork, including QA and Test Records.
