SEF Energy in Oklahoma City is seeking an Assembly/Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble perforating gun equipment through multiple build stages, document progress, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will follow work orders, use basic tools, read blueprints, and test according to standards. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing setting.

• Read blueprints or detailed machine drawings and follow build instructions.

What is an Assembly/Test Technician?
The Assembly/Test Technician is responsible for the assembly of perforating gun equipment throughout different stages of the build.

In this role, you will:

• Process work orders to assemble products
• Document when necessary
• Assemble equipment using tools such as a drill, screwdriver, or wrench
• Follow the work order processes and testing standards
• Perform general shop maintenance including clean up, driving forklift, and using overhead cranes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required and Preferred Experience:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Write correspondence and effectively present information in a one on one or small group situation to other employees
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written, and oral instructions
• Work in a team environment and help others as needed
• Read blueprints or detailed machine drawings

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• You will work in a manufacturing shop environment with moderate noise levels on occasion exposed to wet and humid conditions and be exposed to vibrations
• Requires lifting to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds
• Must have the ability to see at close distance (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and be able to distinguish colors as demonstrated in passing the Jaeger Eye test

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
