Assembly Technician
Provides direct support in three functional areas – Hydrostatic testing, Product Assembly, and Performance testing. Level 2 technicians must demonstrate the ability to work independently in all three functional areas, and mastery of Assembly or Performance testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of FEDCO equipment using prints, manuals, procedure documents, and other instructions.
- Use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment.
- Use of pneumatic, hydraulic, and various hand tools.
- Use of cranes, power lifts, and work from lift platforms.
- Hydrostatic test FEDCO equipment using hydrostatic testing equipment and test procedures.
- Use of pneumatic and hydraulic tools; maintain keen attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
- Performance test FEDCO equipment on various test loops, including test preparation and execution per instructions and procedures.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Assist with general shop maintenance and janitorial duties.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of general assembly or mechanical experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
