Job summary

Clayton Services in Houston is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its manufacturing team. You will assemble industrial control valves and mechanical components per drawings, fit parts, and test assemblies to ensure proper function.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to read schematics and assembly instructions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with previous valve or fluid-control experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling industrial valves, control valves, or fluid control equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing industrial control valves and related components according to technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with hand and power tools, and a background in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.

Assembly Technician Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial control valves and mechanical components according to specifications and assembly instructions.

• Experience working with mechanical fittings, piping components, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
• Additional training will be provided based on previous experience and technical knowledge.
