Job summary

OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, in Snohomish, WA, seeks an Assembly Technician I to safely troubleshoot and install mechanical components on dump trucks and trailers. Four 10-hour days, Monday–Friday, with overtime potential.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year mechanical field experience with hydraulic repairs, ability to read manuals/blueprints, read a tape measure, and operate power tools; welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and related mechanical experience required.
• At least 1+ year in a mechanical field with hydraulic repairs.
• Comfortable with electrical trouble shooting and use of power tools.
• Wrenching experience and ability to read manuals/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes in steel frames.
• Bolt on parts and assemble components.
• Run and feed electrical wiring and hoses.
• Take accurate measurements and report variances.
• Other duties as assigned.
