Job summary

Conax Technologies in Buffalo, NY is hiring an Assembly Technician I. The role involves assembling parts per detailed instructions, using basic hand tools, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Training starts on first shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and moves to second shift (3:15 PM–11:45 PM) after training completes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Job Details: Job Location: CTB - BUFFALO, NY 14225, Salary Range: $19.55 - $19.55 Hourly, At Conax Technologies, we manufacture temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies for a broad range of industries around the world. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembly Technician I to join our manufacturing team. What You’ll Do

• Perform repetitive assembly operations following detailed work instructions, blueprints, diagrams and specifications
• Use basic hand tools and equipment to assemble parts and components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety requirements, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Meet established productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications: Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Will train on first shift 7am-3:30pm, then move to 2nd shift 3:15pm-11:45pm once all training requirements are met
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and torque tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
