Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a manufacturing assembler to join our production team. You will assemble components using hand and power tools, ensuring parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, handling materials, and testing assemblies for quality and consistency. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
  • Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components using hand and power tools to meet specs.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow process work instructions and ensure proper fit of bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
  • Meet production standards within designated time frames.
  • Handle and move materials as required.
  • Use a bridge crane to load, stack, and transport materials.
  • Interpret schematics to assemble machine components accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete final assemblies.
  • Test and inspect parts to ensure uniformity and quality.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
  • Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
  • Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed.
  • Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
  • Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
  • Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
  • Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.
Requirements
  • Previous Manufacturing experience is required
  • Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
  • Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
