Job summary

Hickory Metal Plant of HSM is seeking a production assembly worker to join our team in Hickory, NC. You will obtain materials, assemble frames, hang frames on the paint line, and perform in-process checks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, some production assembly experience, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. We value teamwork and reliability, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to count and do simple math.
• Production assembly experience is preferred.
• Must be able to use a pop rivet gun, stapler, and spring puller.
• Must be able to work with a partner.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain material for assembly.
• Place rails in racks, load assembly parts onto frame, and assemble frame and rails.
• Hang frame on paint line.
• Perform in process checks.
• Touch parts up with spray paint.
