Hickory Metal Plant in Hickory, NC is seeking a motivated production assembler to join our team. You will prepare materials for assembly, place rails, assemble frames, and perform in-process checks on a fast-paced line.

Ideal candidates can count and do simple math, have basic production assembly experience, and work well with a partner. You must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and operate a pop rivet gun, stapler, and spring puller. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

• Must be able to count and do simple math.
• Production assembly experience is preferred.
• Must be able to use a pop rivet gun, stapler, and spring puller.
• Must be able to work with a partner.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain material for assembly.
• Place rails in racks, load assembly parts onto frame, and assemble frame and rails.
• Hang frame on paint line.
• Perform in process checks.
• Touch parts up with spray paint.
