A manufacturing organization in Lake View is seeking an Assembly Technician who will perform the basic assembly of unit sections and sub-assemblies under supervision. Key responsibilities include adhering to quality standards, following instructions, and participating in team activities aimed at safety and productivity improvement. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and be able to understand production orders. Qualifications

• Understanding and proper use of tape measure within 1/16”.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation.
• Must be able to read Production Orders & understand shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly of various parts/components into completed unit sections.
• Meet or exceed annual safety, quality, 5‑S, and productivity targets.
• Participate in problem-solving activities including quality and safety.

Skills

Understanding and proper use of tape measure

Ability to use overhead crane

Basic shop math

Ability to read Production Orders

Familiar with common hand and power tools

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
