Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking an Assembly Technician for a fully on-site contract role in Newark, DE. You will perform complex assembly, select materials, and use machines and hand tools to meet specifications.

You will also maintain equipment, support continuous improvement, and ensure health and safety compliance. Travel to other Bloom facilities in Delaware may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalency diploma required.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic hand tool experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross‑functional working relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred.

  • Ensure efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and/or equipment.
  • Periodically check products per company policy to ensure quality; resolve any identified problems, and alert appropriate chain of command.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Could be required to travel to other Bloom facilities within the Delaware locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on‑site, in‑office role.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand‑eye coordination.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); may be required to wear a respirator and pass a fit test.
