Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking a skilled assembly technician in Corona, CA. You will perform highly complex mechanical assembly, fitting and alignment to close tolerances, with exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and basic soldering.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, tear-down analysis and potential Clean Room work. Strong reading of blueprints and precise attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to read blueprints, procedures, sketches or instructions.
• Basic math to calculate simple percentages for pressure adjustments.
• Interpret various written/oral/diagram instructions.
• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Perform moderate troubleshooting with minimal supervision.

Candidate Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with detailed blueprints, procedures, assembly sketches or other written/verbal instructions of simple complexity.
• Basic math skills to be able to calculate simple percentages regarding adjustment of set pressures.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
• Perform moderate trouble shooting with minimal supervision.
• Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity.
• If position is designated for FAA Repair Station, safety sensitive functions experience a plus. If not, FAA training is provided per the Repair Station Manual and Procedures.

Education

Education: High School Graduate or GED equivalent

PAY RANGE

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour (+ Shift Differential $0.75 per hour, if applicable). Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
