Atlas is seeking a skilled assembler for solid, hollow and hollow pull type assemblies to meet Time Standards with minimal rework. You will read blueprints, inspect components, and assemble aircraft sub-assemblies and structures per customer requirements.
The role requires teamwork, basic measurement tool use, and a proactive approach to quality and process improvements in a loud shop environment. Experience with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges is helpful.
Responsible for and has experience withsolid, hollow and hollow pull type meeting a min of 80% of Time Standards and with less than 10% of rework of all assemblies, riveting, assembly methods, and common shop practices. This position is also responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and structural assemblies per customer requirements, and for identifying nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes by performing the following duties.
Knowledge & Skills:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training:
Six months vocational training.
