Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Able to use hand tools.
• Able to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; informs supervisor.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains inventory by checking stock and expediting orders.
• Communicates with supervisor about potential issues.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment and follows safety procedures.
