Job summary

Electro-Matic, a SunSource company, is seeking an assembler to join the manufacturing floor. The role centers on assembling cable products, following blueprints, and performing wiring tasks on a bench or shop floor.

The position requires reading blueprints, using standard hand tools, and maintaining a safe, orderly workspace. E-Verify participation is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and following assembly instructions.
• Adheres to safety procedures and maintains a clean work area.
• Performs fastening of parts with standard hardware.
• Cuts, strips, and mounts wires for electrical connections.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable products according to part knowledge and blueprints.
• Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners.
• Operate drill presses or air tools to support assembly operations.
• Assemble contacts, springs, receptacles, terminals, and push buttons.
• Wire, cut, strip, and mount wires to connect devices and assemblies.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures.

Job Summary

Assembles cable products and related functions. May work at bench or on shop floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operates drill presses or air tools to assist in assembly operation.
• Assembles in predetermined order contacts, springs, receptacle, terminals, and push buttons.
• Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical devices and or cable /receptacle assembly hardware.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
