Job summary

Electro-Matic, a SunSource company, seeks a detail-oriented assembler to support cable product assembly on the shop floor. You will position parts according to blueprints and assemble components using fasteners, rivets, and hand tools.

This role involves operating drill presses or air tools, wiring preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work area in accordance with procedures. E-Verify participation is noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or blueprints.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Operate drill presses or air tools to assist in assembly.
• Assemble in predetermined order contacts, springs, receptacle, terminals, and push buttons.
• Cut, strip, and mount wires to connect electrical devices and/or cable assembly hardware.

Job Summary

Assembles cable products and related functions. May work at bench or on shop floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operates drill presses or air tools to assist in assembly operation.
• Assembles in predetermined order contacts, springs, receptacle, terminals, and push buttons.
• Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical devices and or cable /receptacle assembly hardware.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
