Job summary

Strange Engineering is seeking an experienced assembler to craft precision racing components for professional drag racing and NASCAR applications.

You will read blueprints, assemble products, inspect parts for quality, and help maintain inventory. The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience, automotive or related industry preferred.
  • Strong measuring and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork mindset.
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assemble complex products such as shocks and steering components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings or build sheets.
  • Inspect and verify components for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized inventory and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Summary:

Use your experience and technical skill to assemble precision racing components for professional drag racing and NASCAR applications. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently assemble complex products such as shocks, steering boxes, master cylinders, and brake systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings or build sheets
  • Inspect and verify components for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain organized inventory and contribute to process improvements
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
