Job summary

Westmor Industries in Morris, MN is seeking skilled assemblers to join our team. You will install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems on trucks, read blueprints, and perform post-paint assembly with precision.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship. Day shift Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with benefits including weekly pay and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read 1/8 inch gradations on a tape measure.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Repair shop experience is a plus.
• Read blueprints and follow technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including airline systems, with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform post-paint assembly on trucks following the painting process, ensuring quality standards.
• Install prefabricated components onto trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide the assembly process.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.

Job Description

• System Installation: Install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including airline systems, with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform Post-Paint Assembly: Complete detailed assembly routines on trucks following the painting process, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Install Prefabricated Components: Mount and secure prefabricated parts and assemblies onto trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Read and Interpret Technical Documents: Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide the assembly process and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Operate Tools and Equipment: Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete complex assembly tasks safely and effectively.

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
