Job summary

Servermonkey specializes in procuring, refurbishing and selling IT equipment, recruiting an Assembly Technician to support outbound processes. You will assemble, test and upgrade IT hardware, including servers and network gear, while maintaining ESD and safety standards.

You will prioritize sales orders, communicate status updates, and help with inventory movement and packaging to meet deadlines. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing IT hardware (Dell, HP, and/or Cisco).
• Demonstrated initiative and research of new technologies.
• Must have good communications skills (verbal & written).
• Must have attention to detail (quality & accuracy).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel; Access Database a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble (configure to order), test, troubleshoot, repair, clean, and catalog electronic components including servers, workstations, network equipment and spare parts.
• Provide updates on sales order status and communicate issues to the team.
• Meet all project deadlines and create reports with status updates for Operations supervisors.
• Adhere to and maintain ESD requirements and quality, safety, environmental & recycling policies.
• Assist Operations and other departments as needed and support inventory movement and packaging.

In essence, Servermonkey offers cost efficient technology solutions to corporate IT departments, small businesses and technology experts.Position Summary:The Assembly Technician will support a variety of outbound Operations process requirements including; assembling, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading IT hardware. Adhere to and assist with the prioritization and processing of outbound sales orders, ensuring they are completed on time.
