Job summary

TESCO – The Eastern Specialty Company in Bristol, PA is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our production team. You will build and inspect components from blueprints, using hand tools and assembly equipment, while emphasizing safety and quality.

You’ll work on soldering, board assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement. We value detail, teamwork, and the ability to read drawings and written instructions in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and written work instructions.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle fragile materials.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Solder wire to boards and assemblies.
• Install circuit board batteries.
• Secure circuit boards with meter assembly and stickers.
• Verify and test circuit boards.
• Assist with troubleshooting boards and electric meter issues.
• Pack parts and components into corrugated boxes.
• Scan barcodes.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Report defects and quality concerns to supervisors and engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Physical Requirements
