Job summary

United Electric Supply is seeking a detail‑oriented Assembly Technician to own the end‑to‑end assembly process. You will assemble parts and wiring, calibrate and test components, and ensure units meet customer specs.

The role is hands‑on, fast paced, and emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork to hit production deadlines. You will support both assembly and warehouse tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and work extended hours when needed, reporting to the warehouse supervisor to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet delivery needs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions in a repetitive environment to meet production deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist and climb.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble fabricated parts, wiring and adjusting subassemblies to complete units.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance as assigned.
  • Receive, pull, and cycle count department inventory as assigned.
  • Effectively calibrate and test parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Use hand tools when necessary.
  • Pack finished product in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
  • Perform all functions of the job by correctly following instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient assembly area.
  • Work closely with the warehouse, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
  • Perform well under pressure and follow instructions in a repetitive environment to meet production deadlines.
  • Must work extended hours to meet delivery needs as needed.
  • Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to take ownership of the assembly process from start to finish. In this role, you will assemble fabricated parts and wiring, calibrate and test components, and ensure finished units meet quality and customer specifications. You’ll work in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with repetitive work, and willing to support both assembly and warehouse operations to meet production and delivery deadlines.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position
  • May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.

  • Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.
