Job summary

Creative Modular Construction LLC is seeking a Commercial Tile & Brick Layer for modular projects in Springfield, MO. Install tile, brick, block, and masonry materials in factory-controlled environments, following blueprints and project specs with attention to quality craftsmanship.

Roles include surface prep, cutting, grout and sealant application, and collaboration with framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish teams to ensure all installations meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Commercial tile and brick laying experience in modular construction settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project layouts and specifications.
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship in a factory-controlled environment.
• Capable of working with mortar, adhesives, grout, and sealants.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, stone tile on floors and walls.
• Lay brick, block and masonry materials per project specs.
• Prepare surfaces by measuring, leveling, and applying mortar or adhesives.
• Cut and fit tile, brick, and masonry using hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints and follow construction plans; perform quality checks.

Job Title: Commercial Tile & Brick Layer – Modular Construction

Location: Springfield, MO

Pay:

• Starting at $18.00-20.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

CMC is hiring Commercial Tile & Brick Layers to install tile, brick, block, and masonry materials in modular commercial buildings, including restaurants, retail spaces, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and other commercial structures. This position emphasizes quality craftsmanship in a factory-controlled environment.

What You'll Do

• Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile materials on floors and walls
• Lay brick, block, and masonry materials according to project specifications
• Prepare surfaces by measuring, leveling, and applying mortar or adhesives
• Cut and fit tile, brick, and masonry materials using hand and power tools
• Apply grout, mortar, and sealants to achieve a quality finished product
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and construction specifications
• Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards
• Work collaboratively with framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish teams
