Creative Modular Construction (CMC) is seeking Commercial Tile & Brick Layer professionals in Springfield, MO. The role involves installing tile, brick, block, and masonry in modular buildings with a focus on quality craftsmanship in a controlled setting.

You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, cut materials, and apply grout and sealants while collaborating with framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish teams. Competitive pay and full benefits follow 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Tile installation and masonry proficiency required.
• Read blueprints and project specs to ensure accurate layouts.
• Ensure quality of installations per company standards.
• Coordinate with framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish crews.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile materials on floors and walls.
• Lay brick, block, and masonry according to project specs.
• Prepare surfaces by measuring, leveling, and applying mortar or adhesives.
• Cut and fit tile, brick, and masonry materials using hand and power tools.
• Apply grout, mortar, and sealants to finish surfaces.
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and construction specifications.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet standards.
• Work collaboratively with multiple trades on site.

• Starting at $18.00-20.00/hour (based on experience)

• Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

CMC is hiring Commercial Tile & Brick Layers to install tile, brick, block, and masonry materials in modular commercial buildings, including restaurants, retail spaces, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and other commercial structures. This position emphasizes quality craftsmanship in a factory-controlled environment.
