Job summary

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is seeking an assembler to join a dynamic team in Wisconsin. The role involves assembling cables, boards, indicators, printers, scales and related products according to documented work orders and assembly prints.

You will review instructions for quality, perform soldering and crimping, and handle computer transactions to close out work orders and track time. The job runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30 pm, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and self-motivated.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently; lift 25–50 lbs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Must read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, boards, indicators, printers, scales and other products per work orders.
• Ensure assemblies meet instructions, electronics prints and quality standards; report issues.
• Maintain urgency to complete and ship products within deadlines.
• Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping.
• Handle computer transactions: print picklists, specs, close work orders, clock in/out.
• Keep a safe, clean area; wear PPE; ground work cells.
• Test indicators for functionality and quality.
• Package products for shipment; operate foam machine or build boxes.
• Operate power and basic hand tools; may operate overhead crane.
• Work in small groups or independently to meet workload.

• Exhibit sese of urgency and ensures products are completed and shipped within deadline.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping
• Perform accurate computer transactions including printing picklists and product specifications, closing out work orders, and clocking in/out of timekeeping system.
• Maintain a safe and professional working area. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure work cells are properly grounded. Clean work area at the close of your shift.
• Conduct testing on indicators to verify functionality and quality standards.
• Package products and prepare for shipments; may operate foam machine or build boxers.
• Operate power tools and basic hand tools, may operate overhead crane
• Must be able to work in a small group setting and independently to complete required workload.

Work scheduled is Monday through Friday core hours 7am to 3:30 pm

No current restrictions prohibiting regular lifting of 50 lbs.
